The mission of the Cap City Pow Wow Drum and Dance Group is to serve as a hub for Native American Pow Wow Cultural and Heritage. Founded by Corrina Snow and Joaquin Rojas, the purpose is to share and cultivate traditional knowledge, offering a dedicated space at Sol Collective for biweekly gatherings. Committed to nurturing the growth of Native youth, we provide opportunities to learn and practice traditions and skills. Beyond being a cultural and educational outlet, Cap City Drum and Dance is a catalyst for reconnection and the fostering of healthy relationships within the Native community, with a special emphasis on youth, wellness, and cultural connections.
