Real Men Talk

This month’s theme is “Understanding Yourself and Your Personality Type,” featuring guest speaker Jermaine Morris—a coach and consultant who specializes in helping people develop self-awareness without judgment.
We’ll kick things off with free food from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, followed by an insightful talk and open discussion where we explore how understanding ourselves can improve how we move through the world and relate to others.

Zines & Seeds

Come hang with us as we celebrate the Sista Bees! This youth centered gathering is all about connection, creativity, and community. We’ll vibe out to sounds by DJ El Indio, create mini zines about the seeds that we’re planting (in the soil and in our lives), and move together in a space made for us.

This isn’t your average market, it’s community care in action. Bring a bag, basket, or just yourself, and come trade, share, and connect. If you have things you don’t use but still love? Bring them! Clothes, herbs, books, jewelry, mugs, home goods, handmade goods, anything in good condition that someone else will enjoy.

Breath In Rhythm
2nd & 4th Wednesdays | 6:30pm
A guided community space where men come together to breathe, release, and reconnect. Through intentional breathwork, participants are supported in letting go of stress, processing emotions, and deepening their connection to self and others. Open to all experience levels.

MEt Youth Art show
FREE | 6/7/25 | 6-9pm
A Met Sacramento High School Art Exhibit” The exhibit showcases the best work produced in Xico González’s two studio art classes at the Met Sacramento High School. The exhibit features watercolors, ink drawings, collages, and linocut prints. DJ Angel Baby will be spinning rolas and there will be food and beverages.

A cultural hub in Sacramento, Sol Collective is a 3,200 square foot space that transforms to fit the expressive needs of the community it serves. From invigorating wellness programs and inspiring multimedia arts exhibitions to city commissioned events and international festivals, Sol Collective serves as an amplification to the often unheard voices of cultural artists and communities.
Established in 2005, Sol Collective is a community-based partnership whose mission is to provide artistic, cultural, and educational programming, promote social justice, and empower youth through art, activism, music, and media experience. Sol Collective provides art exhibitions, community workshops, youth programming, and a platform for public organizing. Sol Collective works to team young creatives with professional mentors across artistic disciplines and mobilize the arts as a means of community building and personal empowerment.
